As simple as it sounds. But a lot goes into it. The exterior of your home can be washed in a variety of ways, for the purposes of removing different kinds of dirt. Depending on the type and amount of dirt covering your house’s exteriors, we can do several things. For example there’s soft washing, a less intrusive treatment that kills bacteria while preventing damage to your home’s siding. But what about algae, mold, rust removal and so on? Algae Removal
In the case of mold, algae, and other types of more serious offenses against your beautiful walls, we can apply a combination of cleaning solutions appropriate to the surface being treated. This is given time to work its magic after which our water jets give it a pressure washing pass and voila – all the filth is removed. Squeaky clean.
Efflorescence Removal
If you went “huh?” we can’t blame you. Efflorescence is that strange, unsightly discoloration on your patio or brick wall. It’s like someone poured some kind of white powder on your beloved surfaces and now they look patchy and pale. Well, that’s called efflorescence.
Efflorescence is basically the gradual deposition of microscopic salt on various surfaces. It’s usually dumped there by dew, rain, your own water, or just a humid climate. The water droplets land on the surface, carrying within them minuscule amounts of salt or minerals. But then the water droplets evaporate, but the salts remain deposited on your beautiful walls. Or on almost any exterior home material including cement, vinyl siding, metal fencing and so on.

Window Washing
Power washing is powerful. But it can also be gentle enough to clean glass without damaging it. Calcite Removal
Remember efflorescence? Well, calcite deposits are just like efflorescence, but instead of it being a salt deposit, calcite deposits are made of calcium. Whereas efflorescence resembles horizontal streaks that are white and chalky to the touch, calcite deposits are usually vertical, white streaks that are smooth to the touch.
But there’s another meaningful difference. Calcite deposits, also known as lime buildup, accumulate right below a material’s surface. Contrary to this, efflorescence is salt accumulated on the very surface. This accounts for the difference in touching the material (chalky and crumbly vs smooth). Both phenomena happen due to water pushing minerals towards the surface before it evaporates.
But as with efflorescence, calcite deposits are also removable with a good pressure wash.
